1972 Series III

1972 Land Rover Series III 88" (see pictures below)

This vehicle was completely rebuilt in 1998 and is in very good condition. Everything runs smoothly. The
vehicle has 71,000 original miles but the 2.25L petrol engine was rebuilt with hardened valve seats and only has about 10,000 miles and runs extremely smooth. Interior is in very good condition.

All galvanized pieces were redone with proper hot dip

Firewall, breakfast, door frames were all galvanized dipped

All panels were painted while disassembled (Limestone colour)

Light duty fasteners converted to stainless

Sound proofing and new interior

New springs and bushings

Alternator

Radiator

More recently added Mean Green Hi-Torque Starter, brand new carburettor, and spin-on oil filter adapter (old canister also available if you are feeling nostalgic)

So why am I selling? I have too many cars and it is a waste to keep it from someone else to enjoy

transfer case rear output seal needs replacing and of course the parking brake shoes

wheel hub seals have an oil leak

minor dent on right hand door (can be fixed; no tears)

sill plate bent (can be straightened)
